Tiny Teeth Early Education has just completed its final show for 2018!
As the founder of Tiny Teeth Early Education I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every Primary School, Preschool and Child Care Centre that opened their classrooms for our dental show incursion. I am proud to say Tiny Teeth Early Education visited 43 Services this year and many of which had multiple shows!
It is very rewarding to think that we have educated so many little people to care for their teeth and learn about healthy eating and drinking!
I hope that together we have made a difference to the children in your care.
We want all children to love and care for their smile, become relaxed little patients at the dentist, and drink lots of water!
I would love to thank all the teachers that sang along, joined in the actions and got involved during the show! For many of you it is my 8th year visiting and a real honour to be invited back each year to teach the children in your care!

Albert the Monkey
Who would have thought that a monkey I found in a shop in Berrima and named ‘Albert’ in my early teaching years as the take home adventure monkey could be so popular. He certainly is the star of the show and the children love his cheekiness as he flips out of our giant tooth!
Learning about Albert’s visit to a dental practice with visuals really does alleviate fear when they have their first check up.
I introduced Albert many years ago to help children in a local dental practice that I also work for and run a childrens therapy program. Many of the children enter the surgery and exclaim “That’s Albert!” I know then that they must of seen Tiny Teeth at preschool and we have made a difference to their little lives making this experience in the surgery a comfortable one. I use Albert often in a play therapy approach to go for a dental chair ride and be the patient while the child with fear explores the role of a dentist and the equipment.

The shows for 2019 will run all throughout next year on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Sessions are available between 9.30am and 2.30pm. Each show runs for 40min.
The cost is $10 per child that attends the 40 minute show and this includes either a Colgate Character Brush OR Colgate My First Toothpaste
( Will advise in January 2019 with what product will be available. This year we had Peppa and Minions)
For children 2-5 years – Peppa Pig or George Brush
For children 6 years and over – Minions Brush
